Job Description
The Engineer, Subsea, will provide practical and technical engineering support to ensure subsea well intervention planning and operations are performed safely and in compliance to the industry standard and regulations.
The Engineer, Subsea, will provide practical and technical engineering support to maintain the integrity and, operability of the Subsea Production Systems (SPS).
Responsible for planning and execution of Subsea Installation & Intervention campaigns to ensure the subsea production systems continue to operate in a condition that is safe for the personnel and the environment throughout the life of the asset.
Project management of all Subsea Installation & Intervention tasks, including well entry/intervention and subsea tie-in activities, from preparation of work scopes and plans through to mobilization, execution and acceptance.
Development of work scopes, specifications and technical evaluation criteria to support company procurement process in securing contracts and service agreements, as necessary, to support Subsea operations.
Function as Client Representative when required during routine and non-routine subsea installation, intervention or inspection activities.
Leads, mentors and trains junior subsea team members in Subsea operations.
Minimum of 10 years Offshore Oil & Gas industry experience (Well Operations) with significant proportion of that (minimum of 5 years) in Deepwater/Subsea Operations.
Demonstrated technical experience in subsea well operations and subsea facilities interface.
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Subsea Well Operations, Subsea Production System and Interfaces, Diving & ROV operations from fixed platforms and DP vessels, and related guidelines to subsea activities.
Detailed understanding of the techniques used for installation and interventions of subsea systems, including seabed hardware, pipelines and risers.
