The Role:
Reporting to the Director of Solutions, you will provide management technical support & services to regional teams. You understand customer needs and challenges, being an active participant in the sales process from the technical perspective.
You will be responsible for:
Working directly with account managers and technical teams, acting as a business partner to develop account strategy, while maximizing product usage and growth.
Demonstrating consultative skills in customer-facing situations to recognize opportunities, and showing dominance in APM (Asset Performance Management) and related areas, to simplify customer understanding of the solutions.
Collaborating with the technical and sales teams by supervising the project by developing presentation materials and vision messages for effective communication.
Participating in customer consulting engagements to facilitate sales, demonstrations, workshops, technical seminars, and value assessments.
Taking ownership for the regional solutions consulting area, supporting marketing pipeline development, implementing technical pilots, sales execution, and generating commercial proposals for assigned opportunities.
Promoting programs to build core competencies, values, and culture to the team under your management, setting goals and plans for high performance and speed of execution matters.
The Requirements:
B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Technology, Science, or Mathematics, ideally with practical experience in consulting or software technology within the oil & gas, mining, or refining industry.
10+ years in process or manufacturing industries required, with previous management experience leading cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of Asset Performance Management (APM) is a plus.
Problem solver, with excellent analytical skills and the ability to transform customers’ requirements into concrete business solutions.
Strong business acumen capable of identifying improvement commercial opportunities, and articulating customer value creation.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, plus an advanced level of English, is mandatory.
Availability to travel 30% to 50% within Latin America and the Caribbean.
