Senior Director of Operations – Apparel Manufacturing
Location: Guatemala City, Guatemala

Chronos Consulting is part of the Coberon Chronos Group, an award winning global leader in permanent and temporary staffing, RPO and business process automation solutions for global multinationals. The Group owns and operates 41 offices worldwide.
Chronos Consulting client is a leader in apparel manufacture. Due to expansion, they are seeking a new Operations leader for this growing and dynamic manufacturing facility.
The Role:
- Reporting to CEO and Head of International Operations based in the USA, you will be responsible for:
- Achieving levels of “throughput, performance and profitability” established as company objectives and ensure the sustainability of its achievement and growth
- Overseeing and ensuring fleet of machinery, equipment and resources.
- Promote and proactively work with managers in Logistics/ Supply Chain, Production, QA, Planning to manage the risks of the operation, and implement Best Practices.
- Planning and budget all the processes of the execution, as well as accountability for the execution of the budget.
- Ensuring the existence and compliance of policies and standards that ensure the achievement of the objectives of all the processes of the execution (End-to-End) and the tangible practice of all the values of the company.
- Knowledge Management and Continuous Improvement.
- Compliance and auditing of both international standards and/or customer and corporate policies and internal business rules that reinforce the Corporate Governance.
- Ensure the teamwork of all the managers in charge of processes plant execution and the effective achievement of their objectives through the measurement of KPI’s
- Nurture R & D and innovation within the organisation
The Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance coupled with 12 + years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to drive a fast growing manufacturing operation and work well under pressure.
- Strong leadership, planning and executions skills
- Six Sigma background preferred and experience working for an international company
- Travel 15 to 20%
- Fluent English
