The Company:
Our client is a rapidly expanding international software company. Due to growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join the team in Mexico City, to support operations in Mexico and LATAM.
The Role:
Reporting to the Benefits Manager, based in the USA, you will provide exceptional customer service to the employees in Mexico and LATAM by supporting the administration of global health, welfare, and pension plans. You will be responsible for:
Exploring, analyzing, evaluating, and administering corporate benefit plans and programs, helping to identify changes that will deliver competitive benefits at the best value.
Monitoring benefit trends in the business environment, staying abreast of applicable benefits legislation.
Supporting the administration of global benefit plans including plan enrollments, terminations, reporting, paperwork, and vendor management.
Consulting and guiding employees with all benefit-related information and developing and updating employee communication materials.
Managing the benefits invoicing, payment, reconciliation process, addressing discrepancies, and issue resolutions.
Partnering with internal and external stakeholders on renewals, benefit program implementations, and other areas related to global benefits administration.
Contributing to the development of specific recommendations and proposals for change, and auditing current benefits programs to evaluate the usage, services, coverage, plan experience, and competitive trends.
Assisting in the development of the annual budget for the benefits area.
The Requirements
B.S. in Human Resources, Business Administration or related fields.
5+ years of experience in benefit plan administration, ideally within a multicultural fast-paced environment, a software or technology company preferred.
Experience with web-based enrollment and vendor/payroll integration with benefits systems.
Interest in continuous learning, researching global benefits, proposing changes and improvements on current benefits programs.
Attention to detail and accuracy, with demonstrated project and program management skills.
Strong communication and customer service skills are required
Advanced level of English. Portuguese is a plus.
