The Role:
This is a newly created role to focus on the application of Supplier Relationship Management technology by re-engineering business process, designing, developing, implementing and supporting the Ariba Supply Chain Collaboration and other business subsystems solutions and improvements within the corporation to achieve speed, simplicity, accuracy and competitive advantage. Relocation within the USA to Omaha, Nebraska will be supported. Flexibility with remote work is offered for qualified applicants, ideally based in the Midwest USA.
Reporting to the VP of IT, you will be responsible for:
Participating and leading all activity phases by coordinating systems integration and end user testing including planning, building, scheduling, facilitating execution, issues resolution, controlling scope, and adjusting to unforeseen issues.
Applying Ariba technology business processes.
Identifying and documenting gaps between current and future business solutions and technology.
Staying abreast of current trends and new technologies. Applying best practices in process design and system development and implementation.
Leading the implementation of Ariba upstream and downstream.
Optimizing the liaise between SAP consultants and Business SME’s to ensure the business procurement requirements are met.
Implementing SAP Solution which will span Ariba and S4/HANA in conjunction with the Ariba Design Authority.
Detailing GAP between SAP Best Practices process and current processes, investigating GAP solution and making recommendations for continuous and improvement.
Leading activities by coordinating systems integration and end user testing.
Performing feasibility and economic analysis to evaluate system alternatives for cost and bottom-line impact.
The Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree of Computer Science, Management Information System, or related field. Master’s in computer related field is preferred.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
Leadership role in Ariba Upstream or Downstream implementation or six years’ experience as a subject matter expert.
Extensive SAP related experience in either SAP Ariba Upstream or Downstream Modules.
Experience with working in SAP S4/HANA Procurement and SAP Cloud integration gateway.
Knowledge of IFS or other ERP Systems.
Excellent understanding of procurement and sourcing processes.
Working experience in a manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
Travel domestically and internationally 25 to 50%
