The Company:
Chronos Consulting’s client is an international company focused on building stronger connections through network infrastructure solutions. We are seeking Network FTTH Designers to work from the office located in Metro Manila.
The Role:
Reporting to the Deployment Lead, you will be responsible for:
Reviewing design considerations for client needs.
Performing FTTH/ODN network.
Planning and creating high and low level designs.
Attending and promptly responding to issues reported by site surveyors.
Design survey pack documentation (fibre drawings, optical calculations and detailed BOM)
Working with Deployment Project Managers to issue work packages, or any requests from the site survey to the construction partners with customers approval.
Generating files for permit approval and manage the project design files.
Running daily status reports and supporting Deployment PM in submission order against design.
The Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Telecom/Network)
10 years of experience with a minimum of 2 years in deployment.
Cross-platform deployment & integration experience.
Ability to identify and resolve commissioning and integration issues.
FTTH/ODN technology and site survey experience.
Auto CAD or similar tool for FTTH design.
Fiber commissioning and integrating devices to Network Management Systems (NMS)
Optical budget calculations exposure
Understanding of floor plans, cable line diagrams, rack plans and fiber test records.
