The Project Manager IT Applications will be focused on developing and improving software applications aligned to meet the needs of the Shared Services and APAC business units. Accountable for the successful analysis, design, implementation of software and IT for this region and manage multiple software application projects, guide timely project completion and optimum resource utilization.
The Role:
Reporting to Global Program Manager based in the USA, you will be responsible for covering the following areas:
Collaborate with APAC management to ensure business tasks are prioritized and resourced to deliver solutions to align business strategy and work within a matrixed reporting environment accommodating multiple cultures, time zones and languages, data processing applications and processes.
Analyze and communicate user requirements for synthesis into Agile development projects and systematized solutions.
Design and develop common business solutions within UNIX, WIN, LINUX environments in accordance to corporate policies and Core Model.
Display a working knowledge of major software development methodologies and proficiency, including ERP, CAD, CPQ, CRM, and web.
Develop subject matter expertise on local business process and in-depth knowledge of information systems used by the region, division, APAC users and IT support personnel.
Motivate and lead teams, strategic planning, achieve goals and deliver results within budget and timeline
The Requirements:
University degree in IT, IS or a related field. Master’s degree is desirable.
15+ years of experience in a senior level IT role with previous supervisory or leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
High degree of business acumen coupled with the ability to develop strong relationships with local and global users and business leaders
International exposure and ERP experience ( QAD a plus)
Travel required 25 – 30%
