General Manager Medical Products
Location: Bratislava, Slovakia
Our client is a global medical device and pharmaceutical distributor with subsidiaries in Israel, Turkey and China. For over 30 years they have been serving hospitals, nursing homes, medical establishments and pharmacies. Our client’s areas of expertise include: medical and rehabilitative equipment (wheelchairs, oxygen concentrators, apnea monitors,
hospital beds, high-tech and assistive devices and more), disposable products, urology products, enteral feeding (both line of Nutritional Foods, and the accompanying disposable products), physical therapy products and pharmaceuticals. As part of their global expansion they aim to extend our activities around east/central Europe,
including Slovakia as main targeted country.

About the positions:
Establish and manage our client’s business activities in Slovakia – drive business development, distribution agreements’ opportunities, sell existing lines of private label products, identify acquisition opportunities and initiate new relevant offering to the local customers.
Main duties:
Establish the local business
Identify and manage the relevant opportunities for distribution / OEM / acquisitions / business cooperation
Build and manage a local team, in the areas of sales, regulatory and logistics
Build and execute an annual business plan
o First year – establishment plan and execution
o Fully own the revenue and profit targets
Manage all subsidiary’s day-to-day:
o Customer relations and Account Management
o Products’ quality, price and time-to-market
o Supply chain
o Local regulations & legal requirements
Manage communication routines with HQ:
o Weekly and monthly interactions with procurement and supply chain departments
o Weekly and monthly reporting to CEO
