Chronos Consulting’s client is a multinational providing shutdown, maintenance and turnaround services to the onshore and offshore oil and gas sector, petrochemical and refineries, with a proven track record of successful project delivery and continual investment in technology to improve safety and generate more value for their customers.
The Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, the General Manager is responsible and accountable for all aspects associated with the management of day to day operations within the company. Responsibilities will be to:
Delivery of organic growth, contractual requirements, financial performance and compliance with legislative, regulatory and the company requirements including OHS, Environmental and Company policies.
Proactively identify and address issues relating to the performance of contracts and risk to the company, achieved through the effective and efficient utilisation of a diverse multi-skilled workforce, consisting of both contract and staff employees, to guarantee a safe, reliable and profitable long term business.
Safety of a large number of employees, for the protection of company assets and public safety and ensuring the company conforms to the requirements of our client contacts.
Effectively perform a significant senior management role, to work effectively on a peer basis at a senior level of Company management, to implement strategies in a broad range of functional disciplines and to effectively present the company’s position and image to employees, customers and other interested parties.
The Requirements
10 years experience in Senior Management and Operational roles within the maintenance services or shutdown sector within oil and gas / petrochemical.
University degree in Management, Business Administration or Engineering, would be preferred.
