ERP Program Manager – EMEA based London

HOME BASED. Role requires 60% travel within EMEA. Location is open and flexible with close proximity to an airport
The main goal of this position is the successful coordinated planning, management and integration of ERP implementations within EMEA region. This position serves as the coordinator among all IT functional groups to establish a common practice for program management and delivery practices, and will drive consistent process and program management practices across the company surrounding business systems alignment and integration, resulting in predictable, measurable services.
The Role:
Reporting to the IT Director based in USA, the Program Manager will be responsible for:
Maintaining overall responsibility for reviewing, planning, organizing and directing all enterprise ERP initiatives.
Directing and managing the installation of the ERP package in conjunction with system administrator and Center of Excellence team along with any supporting applications and interfaces to other entities to satisfy business requirements.
Working closely with ERP Center of Excellence to manage user requests, develop, maintain and exchange best practices and allocate proper resources according to the projects plans.
Initiating, and implementing QAD ERP, methodologies, process and procedures that will support company long and short-term goals.
Demonstrating the ability to adapt to and lead, change, and coach others in the acceptance and support of change within a multicultural and multilingual environment.
The Requirements:
University degree in IT, IS or a related field. Master’s degree is desirable.
8+ years of project management experience through active participation in system-related ERP projects ( at least 5 years of experience in project development in international environments).
Leadership role in ERP implementation or at least 5 years as a subject matter expert in using a business system to support a corporate business environment / function.
QAD a plus (Finance, Supply Chain, Distribution)
Experience in manufacturing, engineering and heavy industries will be preferred.
Configurator application experience is a plus.
Familiar with program management, large (enterprise) lean manufacturing and IT applications.
Fluent English
Travel regularly required within EMEA region (up to 60%).
