Due to expansion, our client is currently looking for a Capital Markets Manager for a permanent position in their office located in Reforma.
You will be leading the Capital Markets department in daily operations, efficiency, productivity and developing new business and maintaining strong client relationships.
The Role:
Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for:
Overseeing the operations and business development of Capital Markets including the compliance of SOFOMES for the Comision Bancaria de Valores.
Providing a high-quality administrative service to a complex portfolio of client structures and high net worth clients with timeliness and efficiency.
Performing financial duties that include: bank reconciliations, trust accounting, DIOT ( Declaración informativa de realización de terceros), preparation of balances, tax return and financial and fiscal reports.
Developing and maintaining a network of intermediary relationships, including tax and legal advisory firms, asset managers, as well as accountants, bankers, and other advisers.
Monitoring new legal and fiscal developments, anticipate changes in legislation and translate into opportunities for the business.
Reviewing and supervising staff in drafting and vetting of various legal documents, agreements, contracts, trust deeds and others, and performing the daily transnational services such as fund transfer for investment purpose according to the Trust Deeds/Agreements.
The Requirements:
Degree in business related discipline, or demonstrate equivalent relevant experience.
10+ years of experience, min of 5 years of experience in handling high net worth clients.
Knowledge of Financial Statements for the Bolsa Mexicana de Valores.
Proven track record, preferably in, financial institutions, trust companies or a professional firms.
Posses an exceptional understanding of the range of trustee products, for example, Unit Trusts or Private Trusts.
Fluent English (business level) mandatory
