The Role:
You will focus on developing and improving software applications aligned to meet the needs of the Shared Services supporting business units and the global organizations. You are accountable for the successful analysis, design, implementation of software and IT and manage multiple software application projects, guide timely project completion, and optimum resource utilization. Relocation within the USA to Omaha, Nebraska is available, or travel into Omaha weekly is required + global travel.
Reporting to the CIO, you will be responsible for:
Collaborating with the management to ensure business tasks are prioritized and resourced to deliver solutions to align business strategy and work within a matrixed reporting environment accommodating multiple cultures, time zones, and languages, data processing applications and processes.
Setting company technical vision and leading the company’s technological advancement.
Developing and overseeing a strategy for using technology within a company for maximum productivity and output.
Evaluating current technology systems and implementing new systems (hardware and software) when necessary.
Developing and assessing IT budgets.
Ensuring technology is being used efficiently and profitably and evaluating the effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.
Displaying a working knowledge of major software development methodologies and proficiency, including multiple ERP applications in manufacturing environments.
Overseeing multiple SaaS, PaaS, Cloud, IoT, and industry 4.0 infrastructure systems.
Staying abreast of current technology trends and platforms and incorporating this knowledge into the organization’s technological approach.
Motivating and leading teams, strategic planning, achieving goals, and delivering results within budget and timeline.
The Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business, computer science, engineering, or related field. MBA in IT is a plus.
10+ years of IT professional-level experience with a minimum of 5+ years mid to upper management experience in IT with multiple ERP applications in a manufacturing environment.
Seasoned business acumen, coupled with the ability to develop strong relationships with local and global users and business leaders.
Manufacturing experience and understanding of manufacturing operations are mandatory.
Awareness of a federated IT model
Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
Able to travel globally – approximately 30%
