The Company:
Chronos Consulting’s client is a global beverage industry leader with a recognized worldwide brand. Due to expansion, we are seeking a Logistics Specialist to join the team in Panama.
The Role:
Reporting to the Business Operations Manager, you will be the point of contact of logistics for the company assisting to countries in the Caribbean, Andean & Central America region.
Reporting to the Director of Logistics, you will be responsible for:
Providing accurate and helpful information to support internal and external customers including handling of complaints.
Working as the interface with the logistics providers for issues related to the deliveries, sharing responsibility on customer satisfaction and customer-related KPIs.
Coordinating the request from customers in alignment with quality management of internal and external certificates.
Completing order process and working in the resolution of logistical issues tracking delivery from third-party logistics to end clients with standard of superior service.
Guarantying that processes are performed according to the corporate authority and strategies.
Escalating the key user and operations manager processes and contributing proactively to the development of procedures.
Conducting the demand from clients in association with quality management of internal and external certificates.
Implementing and screening periodical responsibilities (month/year-end closing).
Organizing all relevant legitimate order documents, including letters of credit and any other applicable export information.
Ensuring correct documentation (manual, guidelines, BPPs) and filling up for easy access.
Handling SAP entries properly for all claims and returning from outbound product movement through to the issuing of the credit note to the customer).
Monitoring consignments in SAP (tracking and tracing).
The Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree, preferred in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related fields.
3-5 years of experience in a similar position. (Beverage or consumer goods industry experience is an advantage)
Knowledge of some ERP, preferably SAP.
Attention to detail, proactive, empathetic, multi-task with the ability to work under pressure with good time management.
Advanced level in Excel.
Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills.
