Sales Director Mining and Heavy Industry Technology

Our client is a unique startup with an automated UAV solution for the mining and oil and gas industry. They are looking for a Sales Director to lead the sales team, once it is established. Job Requirements:
– 10 years Management experience leading and developing sales channels and teams a must
– Experienced channel manager across fragmented market in heavy industry/resources/mining/oil and gas a must
– Previous experience and success in relationship-based solution selling and establishing reseller market channels in the US and Latin American markets
– Degree of qualified and/or appropriate industry qualifications/experience
– Fluency in Spanish an advantage
Responsibilities:
– Acquisition strategy development and implementation
– Establish and Manage a team of sales professionals
– Connect and facilitate executive connections with future clients and appropriate opportunities
– Ensure that leads/opportunities have appropriate “executive sponsorship” within target organizations
– Existing opportunity expansion
– Client and expectation management
– Connect Airobotics executives with appropriate counter-parts within the industry
– Retention strategy development and implementation
