Energy Optimization Engineer


As a successful candidate, you should have a Bachelor degree in Systems, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering. An advanced degree is preferred. 
You should have 6 plus years of experience in process and utilities systems simulation and optimization applications. 
You should have extensive knowledge to conduct economic studies and cost analysis of facilities and systems. The candidate should possess excellent computer skills as well as excellent oral/written presentation skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:
Build optimization models to improve facilities energy usage and improve new designs from an equipment and systems selection point of view.
Audit and review existing facilities, to identify improvement opportunities, potential problems, and remedies to existing problems, working closely with refineries, gas plants, oil stabilization operating facilities, and engineering organizations.
Develop plans for reviewing and incorporating new technologies in facilities and systems.
Conduct simulations and optimization studies, using software packages covering process and utilities systems simulation software.
Deliver presentations to an international audience of experts and publish technical papers.
Mentor  engineers and future energy conservation and optimization specialists.
Possess excellent computer skills, as well as excellent oral/written presentation skills.
