Due to growth and expansion a vacancy has arisen for a part-time administrator to join our team in Birmingham.

Position overview 
The Team Administrator is responsible for providing full administration support to the team.

Core job functions

Providing support to the Birmingham team, to include invoicing, typing, filing, statistics enquiry, report compilation and IT support requirements (via ADT, our outsourced IT provider).
Management of incoming and outgoing correspondence/drawing issues and other postal/mail duties.
Assisting the Project Technicians (PTs) with drawing issues and extranet use.
Chasing invoice payments as required by the team.
Reception cover – answering the phones and greeting visitors/clients as required.
Organising meetings and seminars, liaison with Marketing and other support teams.
Maintain team holiday records, time sheets, invoicing and DOC records.
Ensuring inductions, PPE and IT supplies are arranged for new starters.
Ensuring premises are kept in a tidy condition.
Any ad hoc requirements from the team.
Essential requirements

A self-starter with strong administrative and organisational skills who requires minimal guidance to resolve a variety of issues and is tenacious in concluding tasks.
A dynamic positive approach to work and comfortable multi-tasking under pressure.
An articulate communicator with good interpersonal skills and a pleasant telephone manner.
Friendly, sensible and well-mannered with a good sense of humour.
Desirable requirements

Academic qualifications and background appropriate for an administration role.
Knowledge of working in a busy technical/engineering environment.
This is a permanent, part-time position, offering a salary between £16k and £20k (pro rata) depending on experience, plus an excellent flexible benefits package.
