International Branch Merchandiser - Head Office Cardiff

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our team as an International Branch Merchandiser!

The International Branch Merchandiser (BM) will be responsible for driving store sales, reviewing KPI's, store cover and product ranging. The BM's goal is to potentialise sales through providing analysis of store performance at product level.

Role/ Key Responsibilities

Stores

Understand store profiles and how this affects product selection
Undertaking Store Visits on a regular basis
Reviewing store grades, replenishment and delivery frequency and making recommendations to Manager
Planning

Effectively plan sales, options and markdown strategies, and managing stock levels into the stores
Responsible for Events planning to ensure adequate stock levels for planned sales performance
Plan new store packages based on space and store profile
Monitor Performance

Provide weekly/monthly/seasonal information on the stores to the Manager showing performance and any actions taken, to ensure sales and sell through plans are achieved
Monitor launch of seasons to ensure consistent options and depth throughout the stores and grades
During the season monitor option levels by store to ensure stores stay within an acceptable tolerance
Monitor capacity levels in store, ensuring FP sales are maximised
Providing recommendations to Manager of a review all the levers that can be utilised to potenialise sales, such as grades and replenishment parameters
Reviewing new store performance
Support both the merchandising/retail teams by providing reports on product ranges
Teamwork

Working with the product merchandisers and buyers to understand the ranges and business strategy
Work closely with the store and regional managers to discuss performance
Liaising with warehouse to ensure effective stock management
Liaise with the allocation team to ensure corrective action is taken
Additional Franchise Duties

Assist in planning initial stock packages by market and by store to support our International store opening programme
To be fully up to date on company delivery schedules by category and the impact on International Stock levels
To develop a good understanding of both the brand in the UK and the performance variance by country
Maintaining and processing the franchise orders, responding to all product related requests in an efficient and timely manner
Liaising with our international partners to ensure effective stock management
Providing merchandising teams with reports on product ranges and performance by country
The ideal candidate will:

Be educated to degree level, posses strong retail knowledge and have Assistant Merchandiser or Assistant Branch Merchandiser experience. We are looking for someone highly analytical with good knowledge of Microsoft Packages including advanced knowledge of Excel
