Chronos Consulting’s client offers Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) services in the Aerospace industry.
We are seeking an experienced technical and business leader in Aerospace to guide strategic growth of this business unit. In this newly created role, you will initiate business development activities to expand current services and identify strategic acquisitions in the North American market. You will be also be responsible for developing the sales team and overall business strategy. This role will be based in Los Angeles. Relocation offered within the US.
The Role
Reporting to the Vice President, you will:
Ensure continuing operations and expand the business unit’s geographic reach and competencies through organic growth and acquisitions
Maintain expertise in Non-Destructive Testing and business trends within Aerospace industry
Proactively work with existing accounts; discover, define, and deliver to new customers and drive demand for services
Responsible for P&L, budgeting, and forecasting
Direct and manage employees; manage staffing to maximize utilization, revenue, and profit
Drive continuous improvements and recommend strategies to improve productivity, quality, and control of operational costs; including, acquiring and upgrading laboratory equipment
The Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Management (MBA preferred), coupled with 6-10+ years of experience in technical Aerospace Non-Destructive Testing.
Progressive career experience within technical Aerospace NDT business development, sales, and services; well-connected and respect within the Aerospace industry
Proven successful track record in operations, strategic planning, and business development within the Aerospace industry; M&A experience a plus
Customer service oriented; strong project management, proposal, and negotiation skills
Technical aptitude and motivated to learn about new applications and products
Significant travel required for success in this role
